A Single Glance by Willow Winters
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Aaaagh- so good! I can’t handle how much I NEED the next book. Right meow.
This book started a little bit slow for me honestly, but once it got going it flew. The interactions between Jase and Bethany were so hot, so full of anticipation and emotions unspoken… It was like a movie that you want to yell at- “don’t investigate that noise” or “don’t run UP the stairs to get away.” Except more along the lines of “you are both in the same headspace- let go and give each each other what you both want!”
Then that twist at the end, the cliffhanger… why, Willow Winters? Why do you torture us so?
I NEED THE NEXT ONE!

I saw her from across the bar.
My bar. My city. Everything in that world belonged to me.
She stood out from the crowd like she was looking for someone to blame for her pain.
That night, I felt the depths of my mistakes. I felt my scars. With a single glance, I knew her touch would take it all away. I craved it more than anything.
I knew she would be a tempting, beautiful mistake.
One I would make again and again… even if it cost me everything.
