N9ne: The Tale of Kevin Clearwater by T.M. Frazier
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Another winning addition to the King series
This book is the latest entry to the King series, telling the story of Nine.
I enjoyed seeing my favorite King characters again, and getting more of their dynamic. I also enjoyed the twists in the book which, admittedly, I didn’t see coming. Truthfully I thought the feelings between Nine and Lenny developed a bit fast, but to be fair my last reads were a trilogy and a duet so I suppose any standalone will feel rushed after that.
I did enjoy the little details like the necklace and tattoo, and the interactions Preppy has with his kids. Bo, in general- at eight years old that kid is already even crazier than Preppy. And I love it.
Overall this wasn’t my favorite entry into the series (King still holds that title), but I did enjoy it.
