The Hit: Bratva Vows Book Two by SR Jones
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Great series
I felt less urgency to finish this book than I did with the first two of this series, but it was still a really good read.
I loved the miscommunication, and that they loved each other but both were too scared to admit it. That plays pretty heavily in most of my favorite romances.
I also loved the secondary characters. As I read this series I was really hoping there might be more books by this author to tell their stories, and I was thrilled to see that there are.
Anyway, I loved the growth they both experience throughout the series, but especially in this final book. I also really liked that Violet puts herself in therapy. Rarely does therapy play a part in dark romance, although the disastrous experiences these poor people live through make it a given that they will all NEED therapy to function in a healthy way. That Violet pursued therapy, and was responding positively to it, made the story more realistic to me.
I wish this book had been a little longer as some of it felt a bit rushed/underdeveloped, but I still really liked it. And I still definitely recommend this series!
